Savory Apple Vinaigrette
Makes 1½ Cups
  1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine olive oil and apple cider vinegar. Blend with a wire whisk, or stir briskly with a fork.
  2. Add applesauce, lemon juice and pepper. Whisk, or stir briskly until well combined.
  3. Serve immediately, or refrigerated.
  4. Store refrigerated in covered bowl or jar with lid for up to three weeks. Shake well before using.
- Use Savory Apple Vinaigrette dressing over a Waldorf Salad made of apples, celery, walnuts; or on a bed of leafy greens paired with choice of chopped apples, pears, or cranberries, bleu cheese crumbles, candied walnuts.
